Coinbase is a cryptocurrency exchange. It was founded in 2012, about four years after Bitcoin was created. It is based in San Francisco, California with offices across the world. Coinbase is a fully licenced and regulated Bitcoin exchange. Coinbase is by far the most popular because you can invest directly with USD.
